Why this site exists
Sandboxels is an open-ended browser sandbox. The fun comes from placing materials, watching movement, changing temperature and discovering interactions, but search intent around the game is often much more specific: how to make dough, where to find mods, what a control does, or where the official game lives.
Sandboxels Tools turns those repeated questions into a compact set of tools and pages. The homepage starts with a small experiment, a reaction finder and an element catalog, then connects to recipes, guides, controls, mods and source links.
What we are building
The first release is intentionally practical. It does not try to reproduce the entire official simulation or generate a thin page for every element. It provides structured starter data, clear uncertainty notes, internal links and a browser-native interaction that makes the site useful even before a visitor opens the full game.
As the site grows, new pages should come from real search questions and verified source context. The goal is a helpful reference layer, not a claim of ownership or a substitute for the official project.
How the companion tool works
The local experiment uses a Canvas, a pixel-style toolbar and browser storage for optional saves. The reaction finder matches two curated inputs and returns a concise condition note. The element catalog helps visitors move from a name to a category, state, property and next action.
The tool is designed to fail safely: an unknown pair returns a clear no-match state, a missing input stays empty, and mod pages link to sources without executing arbitrary remote JavaScript.
Official and unofficial boundaries
Sandboxels Tools is not affiliated with the official Sandboxels project. The official browser game and repository are linked throughout the site so visitors can play, inspect current source context and verify behavior. If an official source and this site disagree, use the official source as the final authority.
